in college-level education and adventure. Join us as we explore some of the most beautiful
areas on the globe. Sea kayak and dive pristine coral reefs, trek ancient ruins and remote
tropical forests, and raft wild jungle rivers. Along the journey gain academic credit as you
immerse yourself in the science and culture of our exotic settings! |
The expeditionary learning programs at VENTURE OUTSIDE provide college-level students with personal growth opportunities and expeditionary learning sessions that are unavailable through contemporary education. The purpose of these programs is to offer an opportunity for students from all backgrounds to learn in an exploratory and hands-on environment. Students are immersed in the learning process, with the opportunity to gain new skills and relate and apply their knowledge to real life situations.
VENTURE OUTSIDE academic programs were founded under the concept that the classroom is no substitute to learning in the natural setting. Under this premise, we have substituted the typical overcrowded classroom for the opportunity to experience exotic destinations and explore lost civilizations.

We at VENTURE OUTSIDE firmly believe that by providing an opportunity for young adults to experience the natural world, we have the ability to promote the preservation of our wild places through direct connection and personal experience. It was under this premise that the idea for VENTURE OUTSIDE academic programs was established.
In developing a globally competitive study abroad program, VENTURE OUTSIDE has sought out a relatively new and unique niche in the education industry termed ‘Expeditionary Learning’. By doing so we have combined the positive aspects of experiential learning, outdoor adventure, and cultural exposure to create a unique and lasting life experience.

Applications are currently being accepted for a 2-week session in Panama during June 2007.

HOW TO APPLY
VENTURE OUTSIDE programs select a limited number of students each term from a broad range of academic and cultural
backgrounds. We feel the more diverse our expedition group, the more constructive our knowledge base becomes. For this very
reason we highly encourage students from all spectrums of life to apply. Please email VO with an initial expression of
