elevation and rainfall in the cloud forests of the Chiriqui Highlands, western Panama offers a huge number of options for whitewater rafting and kayaking.
Working with our partners at Chiriqui River Rafting, Venture Outside is pleased to offer this full week of whitewater. As a pioneer of ecotourism in

From the most intrepid of adventurers to the novice, Venture Outside has designed a week of amazing whitewater experiences that range from more technical river sections of class IVs for a true adrenaline rush, to less strenuous, and milder trips, all of which take place in scenic and wild western Panama. For groups of 4 or more, we’ll customize this trip to exactly fit your experience and ability level. Depending on the groups interests, for a change of pace, we squeeze in some land-based activities, ranging from hikes and wildlife observation, mountain biking on local trails, visits to local coffee, banana and sugar operations, and drives to hot springs, and we have the beautiful town of Boquete to relax in. But the emphasis here is on the whitewater!

 Activities: white water rafting, waterfalls, mountain biking, hiking.
Meals and Lodging: For this trip, we stay at the Bajareque Farm Bed & Breakfast. Located 15 minutes from the town of Boquete, the setting is as pristine as it is peaceful, in the shadow of the Baru volcano. A network of trails allows visitors to traverse the farm and surrounding forest. For one night, we’ll camp on the banks of the Chiriqui Viejo River, at an exclusive Venture Outside location.
